Born in Washington, DC, Lynn K. Hobson has built a powerful career in Hip-Hop, PR, and beyond. While attending Howard University, she discovered her passion for communications and soon after landed an internship at The Terrie Williams Agency in New York City. There, she quickly rose from intern to Publicist, working on major projects with Essence Magazine, the NBA Players Association, and more.
After gaining invaluable experience, Lynn launched her own firm, HobbieCom, representing icons such as Mike Tyson and Undeas/Untertainment/Epic Records (home of the Notorious B.I.G.). Since then, her client roster has included Dip Set, DMX, Gucci Mane, Chris Brown, Remy Ma, The Hip-Hop Museum, several wine & spirits brands, Film Festivals, Authors, and countless actors and influencers.
In 2015, Lynn earned her bachelor’s degree in communications from the City University of New York. Two years later, she released her book Diary of a Hip-Hop Publicist, celebrating her first twenty years in the industry. She has shared her expertise as a motivational speaker at Howard, Georgetown, Pace, Microsoft, and more, and also served as Adjunct Professor of Public Relations at Delaware State University, teaching over 300 students.
Based in Bergen County, New Jersey, Lynn continues to deliver results for her clients while pursuing new opportunities in media. In her downtime, she enjoys traveling and relaxing by the water with her pup, Mr. Love Muffin.
